Mike Tyson and Mr. Dream

The Dream Circuit, or the Dream Fight, is a bonus circuit in the NES titles Mike Tyson's Punch-Out!! and Punch-Out!! Featuring Mr. Dream. It is not a circuit per se, as it only contains one fighter; however, the ring in which the Dream Fight takes place is a different color than that the previous circuits, and as such could be regarded as a separate circuit.

In Mike Tyson's Punch Out, Mike Tyson was the only fighter in the Dream Circuit. In Punch-Out!! Featuring Mr. Dream, the player would fight Mr. Dream instead. They both have the same attacks, and are both very hard to defeat.

In the original version of the NES Punch-Out!!, there was no Dream Fight; the game ended after Super Macho Man was defeated. Mike Tyson was added in the American version in the game after Nintendo of America's then-president Minoru Arakaw saw Tyson in a boxing match, and was so impressed with his skill that he decided to implement the champ into the game. This game was released in Japan, as well. After Nintendo's contract with Mike Tyson had expired, they re-released the game as Punch-Out!! Featuring Mr. Dream, and put the fictional character Mr. Dream into the game in Tyson's place, changing Mike Tyson's skin color, and hair, along with a couple of his facial expressions.
